Force is defined as physical power or strength possessed by a living being. Will Walker played with force. From 2005-2009, Walker mesmerized fans and reenergized the Bethel program. During his freshman year, the Pilots had the worst start in program history, but by his senior year they posted the best start in program history - in no small part due to the play of the 6'6'' forward from Michigan City. Walker is one of only four players with over 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds and 100 blocks in his career. He is fourth on the all-time scoring list with 2,427 points and fifth on the all-time rebounding list with 1,234 total rebounds. Only three players have ever won the team MVP award three times and Walker is one of them. Speaking of winning, Walker led the Pilots to the 2007 NCCAA National Title during his sophomore year. On the way to that title, Walker hit a game-winning basket against Northwood on Dec. 29 that capped a 26-point comeback. As a senior, Walker led the Pilots to a no. 1 ranking a trip to the Fab Four in the NAIA National Tournament. While many were left wondering what might have been, one thing was unquestionable - Walker gave us all a fun ride. He ended his Bethel career on a very high note - winning both the NCCAA and NAIA National Player of the Year awards. He is the only Pilot to ever win the NCCAA award and one of only two to win the NAIA award. Walker is a member of the most exclusive club in Pilot basketball - he is one of five players whose number has been retired. Since graduating from Bethel, Walker has played professionally in Europe.
