The Department of Communication is hosting their “Night of Premieres Red Carpet Event” on Thursday, Oct. 28, from 7-8:30 p.m. in room 415 of the Academic Center. All students—liberal studies, undeclared and communication especially—are invited. Students are encouraged to wear their formal attire although it is optional to the event. According to Professor Elizabeth McLaughlin they will be showing “various videos from a class and discussion of internships and fieldwork.” One of the videos McLaughlin is looking forward to seeing includes Director of Student Media Tim Ceravolo and McLaughlin rapping while Professor Theo Williams looks at them like they are crazy. Along with their videos they will also be “informing students on what the communication department is all about while having a good time doing it,” said McLaughlin.
