25 Service is one of Bethel's core values. After just recently being ranked second in the nation for community service participation by Washington Monthly, it is easy to see that Bethel makes serving the community a major priority. That emphasis on service is most visible on Bethel's annual Service Day, when classes are cancelled and students go out into the community to help those in need. This year Service Day fell on Oct. 1, and the Bethel Beacon's own Tiffani Hartsell was there to cover it. The Bethel Beacon's Tiffani Hartsell has this video report.
