MISHAWAKA -- Bethel Pilots from the past decade-and-a-half should be giving themselves a pat on the back for being a “top tier college” for 15 years straight. According to the 2019 edition of “U.S. News Best Colleges,” Bethel is No. 29 in the rankings. These standings are based on a panoply of criteria for “academic quality,” such as faculty resources, financial resources, alumni giving, student excellence, and more. Ever since 2005, Bethel College has maintained a strong presence in the listings, and Bethel University is sure to continue the trend. Bethel was also placed at No. 19 of “Best Undergraduate Teaching – Regional Universities Midwest.”

Bethel, among 10 other Indiana colleges, has also been recognized as a College of Distinction for 2019 – 2020. Bethel shares slightly larger company in its recognition as one of 72 Christian Colleges of Distinction. According to the Bethel website, this award signifies a college or university has excelled in the “Four Distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant communities, and successful outcomes.
