MISHAWAKA, IN—The Theatre Department is gearing up for its 24-Hour Theatre event this weekend, which is making a comeback after a spring studio show and a lack of signups prevented it from taking place the last two years.
Five writers and five directors have already committed to the project; it takes place from 7 p.m. on February 7th to 8 p.m. on February 8th. Writers will work with directors to come up with a new 10-minute play based around a concept or challenge given by the faculty. Directors will work with actors to prepare for February 8th's evening performance. It is free of charge and open to the public.
Auditions will be held from 7:30 p.m.-8:45 p.m. on February 7th, and the selected actors will rehearse from 9 a.m. on February 8th to showtime. If you are interested in signing up for auditions or want more information about the event, see the call board in the Everest-Rohrer Auditorium basement. Audition walk-ins are also accepted.
