Bethel Dec­o­rates for Christ­mas Sea­son

MISHAWAKA- Bar­bara K. Belle­feuille, Ed.D., in­terim pres­i­dent, wanted to cel­e­brate the birth of Je­sus by light­ing up cam­pus with a na­tiv­ity and light trees. There was a tree light­ing cel­e­bra­tion on Mon­day, Nov. 29. Stu­dents and fac­ulty gath­ered by the pond to sing Christ­mas songs, drink hot choco­late, eat cook­ies, and count­down to the light­ing of the trees.  

Belle­feuille hopes that the lights and cel­e­bra­tion gave stu­dents a lift as they headed into their last two weeks of the se­mes­ter.  

“I hope this gives them some­thing to smile about, but ac­tu­ally - it’s all about cel­e­brat­ing our Sav­ior!” Belle­feuille said.
