Volleyball downs forresters; falls short of lancers

The Pilot Volleyball team went 1-1 at home this weekend as they were able to destroy Huntington 3-0 Friday night; however, they fell to the Grace Lancers 0-3 on Saturday. These two games bring the Pilots to 14-8 overall and 5-4 in the conference. Despite having a rough Saturday and falling to Grace, Bethel is currently tied with the Lancers in fourth place in the conference. The Pilots defeated Huntington Friday night by scores of 25-9, 25-15, and 25-22 and many of the Pilots were able to contribute to the victory. On Saturday, Bethel fell by three close scores which consisted of 25-20, 25-15, and 26-24. Callie Hartman stepped up for the Pilots, earning 10 kills against the Lancers. Alicia Carlton earned 10 defensive digs, while Lindsay Marks provided 24 assists. The Pilots will be off until next Friday when they take on Indiana Wesleyan on the road.
