The Lady Pilots Volleyball team ended its season last week as they reached the semi-finals in NCCAA Regional Tournament play which was held at Cedarville University. The Pilots competed in a pool play on Friday and placed second which earned them a bid in the regional semi-finals. Unfortunately for the Pilots, they took on the Spring Arbor Cougars, who had defeated them twice earlier in the season. Despite a tough fight the Lady Pilots put up, the Cougars claimed their third win of the season over the Pilots to reach the regional championship. The Pilots were defeated by a score of 3-2. Set scores for the match were 17-25, 25-23, 28-26, 24-26, and 12-15. Despite this heartbreaking loss for the Lady Pilots, the team still finished above .500 with a record of 21-20.
