Senior nursing students along with faculty and the Wellness Center are hosting their annual Wellness Fair on Wed., Nov. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center Rotunda and Annex. According to the communications and marketing department this year’s theme is “We’re Bringing Healthy Back.” Those who attend can expect door prizes “and many other prizes that can be won by attending and participating at the Health and Wellness Fair,” said Rebecca Zellers, nursing professor. “All who attend will have the opportunity to visit various booths which focus teaching on the health risks found on college campuses,” said Zellers. Some of these booths include educational information on health issues, diabetic and blood pressure screenings, and messages. “A limited number of flu vaccines will be available and those interested should stop by the immunization booth for more details,” said Zellers. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the event.
