The Lady Pilots traveled to Saint Francis last Saturday where they were outperformed by the fifth ranked Cougars. Bethel found themselves in trouble early as they trailed at half-time by a score of 46-26. Although the Lady Pilots battled hard throughout the remaining of the second half and were only outscored by three points, they eventually fell by a score of 79-56. In an attempt to keep up with the Cougar offense that consisted of five players reaching double digit scoring, the Lady Pilots were once again led by Mandy Yoder and Heather Seyfred. Both Yoder and Seyfred put up 14 points on the afternoon and gathered a combined six rebounds. Baysia Cox was able to chip in six points, while Lindsay Rich claimed five points. The Lady Pilots will next be in action Tuesday when they take on the Lady Lancers of Grace. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m. Bethel is currently a half-game up on Grace in the conference standings and is currently four games out of first place.
