It’s time for Bethel’s third Labor For Your Neighbor. The annual spring service day is scheduled for this Saturday April 16 across 31 different locations in the surrounding community. This a chance for students to get involved locally through spring cleaning and outdoor projects. “I think it’s good that Bethel’s taking an initiative to move out into the community,” voiced junior Zachariah Dillar, who also works in the Service Learning Center. According to Dillar, some of the work includes raking leaves, lots of yard work and mowing. All students who are interested should meet outside the campus safety building around 8:00 in the morning. From there, they will be divided into groups and bussed to their locations. The entire day goes from eight to noon and all students are invited to the DC cookout afterward.
