The Bethel men’s golf team came home Tuesday after capturing a hard-earned Indiana Wesleyan University Invitational. Overall, the team shot a 594 over 36 holes which bested the other nine teams competing. Brady Klotz shot a solid 74 on day one; however, was able to turn in an impressive 70 the next day which led all of his teammates. Freshman Brian Ulrich stepped up big for the Pilots as he shot a 72-75-147, while Tim Langolf chipped in a 77-73-150. Others that followed closely behind included Gregg Lebold with a 152, Jon Enfield with a 153, and Drew Day shot a 154. In capturing their first invitational of the fall season, they were able to overcome second place Holy Cross by eleven strokes. The team hopes that they can use this confidence as they gear up for their own Bethel College Battle at Blackthorn Invitational that is to be held September 23.
