The men’s soccer team fought very hard on Tuesday Oct. 18; however, were not able to hold off a late Goshen comeback, which led to the Pilots clinching the two seed in the conference. The Pilots struck early on the night as Romulo Nobrega and Gerardo Carrera each put goals into the back of the net. Unfortunately, the Pilots had little control from there as Goshen was able to come all the way back scoring three goals to claim the victory. The last goal came after the 80th minute, forcing the Pilots to scramble and come up with a desperate goal; however, they fell short. This is the second conference loss of the season for the Pilots, giving them a conference record of 6-2. The team will host Marian this Saturday Oct. 22 at 4:00 p.m. Regardless of the outcome of that game the Pilots will be given the two seed in the MCC tournament, while Taylor has earned the number one overall seed with their win over Indiana Wesleyan.
