On Thursday, Oct. 27 the 2nd Annual Commie awards hosted by the Communications Department will take place in the Miller-Moore Academic Center in room 342 from 7-9 p.m. There will be refreshments, student speakers, and opportunity to ask questions and videos submitted by students. According to Beth McLaughlin, communication department chair, five videos have been submitted which fall into three categories; music videos, interviews and features. “(We’re) looking for about 50 people,” said McLaughlin. “Wear a prom dress if you want.”
