The men’s and women’s soccer team collected a number of post-season honors following the MCC Tournament. Although the men’s team was upset in the second round of the MCC Tournament by the Spring Arbor Cougars, the team was awarded four First Team All-Conference awards. Those receiving this honor included Joao Couto, Romulo Nobrega, Bernardo Sant'Anna, and Cody Troyer. In addition, Nobrega was named the MCC Offensive Player of the Year. This is the second time in three years he has received this award. Despite, competing in nearly all of their conference games this season, the Lady Pilot soccer team did not qualify for the tournament with a 2-7 conference record. Nevertheless, their standout player all year has been sophomore Nichole Steller, who was awarded MCC First Team All-Conference. Steller, who collected 8 goals in her first year at Bethel, scored a whopping total of 13 goals this season. In addition, she was able to chip in two assists throughout the year.
