After finishing the regular season with an overall record of 22-10, conference record of 12-6 and finishing second in the MCC Tournament, the Lady Pilot basketball team received an automatic bid into the NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball Tournament held in Sioux City, Iowa. The tournament bracket consists of 32 teams and is made up of four regions of teams seeded one through eight. Bethel received a No. 5 seed and will face the No. 4 seeded Cardinal Stritch Lady Wolves on March 8, at 6:15 p.m. The Lady Pilots enter the game 3-0 in games played on a neutral court. The Lady Wolves are currently 26-6 overall. They also compete in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference where

they accumulated a conference regular season record of 11-1 as well as a conference tournament championship. In addition, Cardinal Stritch enters the game having won 18 of their last 19 contests. However, the Lady Pilots will look to use their experience of coming out of one of the toughest conferences in NAIA to guide them through the tournament. They will be led by MCC First Team All-Conference shooting guard Laura Johnson, honorable mention All-Conference forward Georgia Boisse, and MCC Coach of the Year Jody Martinez. If the Lady Pilots are victorious in opening round action, they will face the winner of the one seed Concordia and the eight seed Sterling.
