Beacon Exclusive: Bob and Marilynn Ham talk about battling cancer together

Long-time Bethel faculty member Bob Ham went on medical leave from teaching in the spring of 2015. Ham has battled breast cancer since the fall of 2011 and his most recent diagnosis required him to take a leave from teaching. This is the first time that he and his wife Marilynn have not been together teaching at the same school since they’ve been married. “The Bethel Beacon” interviewed the Hams about their life together, their time teaching, how their lives have changed since Ham’s diagnosis and what their goal is for their careers and for their students.
