MISHAWAKA- Jan. 24-28 was Bethel University’s annual GO Week. This is a week where the campus, including chapel services and campus activities, emphasizes missions work and its importance. This year, Bethel celebrated GO Week with an extra chapel session on Wednesday morning, a panel of missionary kids, a missionary panel and three nights of students being hosted by staff and faculty for food and culture experiences.
Annie Bennett, Tuckey’s resident director, was one of the leaders of planning this week. She said the point of GO Week on campus is for students and staff to understand God’s heart for missions. Bennett said that she hopes that students now have a better understanding of what being a missionary entails.” She said that the events of the week were successful and went well.
GO Week was organized by Bennet and by Shawn Holtgren and was sponsored by World Partners.
