Bethel Psy­chol­ogy Club Hosts Guest Speak­ers

MISHAWAKA- The Bethel Psy­chol­ogy Club hosted an event on Fri­day, March 25, at 7 p.m. in AC 217 to in­tro­duce stu­dents to peo­ple work­ing in the field of psy­chol­ogy. Guest speak­ers Stephanie Cal­son, Ph.D., and Chelsey Luke, LMHC, spoke about their own ca­reers in psy­chol­ogy. 

Carl­son was a pro­fes­sor at Bethel for over 20 years be­fore leav­ing the ed­u­ca­tion field in 2020. She now works for REAL Ser­vices, Inc. Luke grad­u­ated from Bethel and worked as a ther­a­pist in Bethel’s Well­ness Cen­ter for about two years be­fore ac­cept­ing her cur­rent po­si­tion at Re­flec­tions Coun­sel­ing. Ac­cord­ing to Emily Pe­naflorida, the psy­chol­ogy club’s pres­i­dent, the goal of the event was to help stu­dents make con­nec­tions in the field of psy­chol­ogy.
