MISHAWAKA- The Bethel Psychology Club hosted an event on Friday, March 25, at 7 p.m. in AC 217 to introduce students to people working in the field of psychology. Guest speakers Stephanie Calson, Ph.D., and Chelsey Luke, LMHC, spoke about their own careers in psychology.
Carlson was a professor at Bethel for over 20 years before leaving the education field in 2020. She now works for REAL Services, Inc. Luke graduated from Bethel and worked as a therapist in Bethel’s Wellness Center for about two years before accepting her current position at Reflections Counseling. According to Emily Penaflorida, the psychology club’s president, the goal of the event was to help students make connections in the field of psychology.
