Bethel University Hosts Missionary Church Historical Society

MISHAWAKA- The Missionary Church Historical Society (MCHS) is hosting an event at Bethel University on March 26.

According to Timothy Erdel, Ph.D., and Curator of the Missionary Church Archives Kevin Blowers, the historical society was founded on Bethel’s campus in 1979 to preserve the history of the Missionary church. MCHS collects documents and materials related to the Missionary Church and its history and also publishes a historical journal.  

Before COVID-19 the MCHS hosted events twice a year. At these events, people from the Missionary Church share their personal stories and their faith journeys. 

The event will take place in the Kelly Auditorium at 10 a.m.  Former President of the Missionary Church Bill Hossler will be speaking on the call to ministry.
