MISHAWAKA—Despite the many obstacles presented by the current pandemic, the theatre department is moving forward with a fall semester play, the Shakespearean romantic comedy “Twelfth Night.” The performances will be November 12-14.

With the threat of COVID, attendance is going to look a little different; seating capacity will be reduced to 25 percent of the auditorium to ensure physical distancing. The box office will be selling tickets in pairs so students can enjoy the performance with a friend, but they will remain distanced from others.

The department will also be livestreaming the performances for those who are quarantined or wish to remain home. Theatre Arts Box Office Manager and Administrative Assistant Grace Cole said they want the performance to be accessible.

“We will be live streaming the production as well, making it more accessible option for nursing homes, schools or anyone in the high-risk category,“ Cole said. “The live stream is an option for anyone interested.”
