After taking a 1-0 lead in the first half, the men’s soccer team was unable to complete the upset as Lindsay Wilson College escaped with a 2-1 win. Joe Tate was the key contributor for the Blue Raiders as he tied the game at 1-1 in the second half and then netted the winning goal with 21 seconds left in the second overtime. Junior Romulo Nobrega assisted the Pilots in the nail biter with a first half goal which gave the Pilots a lead for most of the game. Nobrega was able to head in a free kick by junior Daniel Moyo. This puts the Pilots overall record to 4-6; nevertheless, they remain 1-0 in the MCC after beating Goshen earlier last week. The team will return to MCC action on Wednesday night at 7:00 as they take on Grace College at home.
