The men’s soccer team closed out the regular season in style as they destroyed Marian University by a score of 4-0. This marks the second consecutive year that the Pilots have finished the conference regular season undefeated. As a result the team will have home field advantage throughout the MCC Tournament. The Pilots were able to down the Knights on senior night due to their explosive offense. Junior Romulo Nobrega got things going for the Pilots with a goal to close the first half and one early in the second. Senior Martin Ruiz also chipped in with a goal midway through the second half. With less than 10 minutes to play Senior Josh Overmeyer scored a powerful goal off of a Carrera Gerardo cross. Although the time has yet to be determined, the Pilots will play their first round of the MCC Tournament on Saturday October 30.
