Children from all over the globe are coming to Bethel this week. The Children of the World choir, sponsored by World Help, will be singing in chapel on Wednesday. The choir is made up of children from various countries such as Uganda, the Philipines and Nepal. The organization works in over 60 countries and helps children from impoverished homes. The choir is made up of a few of these orphaned children. The group travels for ten months out of the year around the U.S. raising awareness about the needs of children living in war-torn or poverty stricken countries. The choir has sung at Bethel for two years previously and will be coming to campus again as they pass through the region. "Students can expect to be inspired, encouraged and challenged as children from all over the world lift up to praise God," said Shawn Hotgren, vice president for student development. Holtgren goes on to say that this campus needs to participate in God's work in the world through prayer and giving.
