The Lady Pilots golf team began their season in dominating fashion as they won their first invitational of the year at Saint Francis. Jessica Layman dominated the entire field by shooting a 78-74, which earned her a first place finish. The Lady Pilots were able to overcome the competition with their tremendous depth. Katie Powell shot a 77-78 and finished third, Melanie Day shot a 84-74 and finished fourth, Kaelyn Lingenfelter shot an 81-79, and Sarah Henderson shot a 86-83. The Pilots will next be competing on September 6-7 at Columbiana, Ohio.
