The Lady Pilots gathered a quality win over the Grace Lancers at home Tuesday night, ending their two game skid and improving their conference record to 4-5. Bethel came out hungry for a win as they claimed a ten point lead at halftime and sustained that lead as they won by a score of 68-59. While the Lady Pilots were able to shoot well and put up an impressive 68 points, they also played incredible defense on the night as they were able to force 20 turnovers. Overall, Bethel was not entirely deep with their scoring but received quality contributions from their starters. Heather Seyfred was the high scorer on the night with 20 points, Mandy Yoder chipped in 17, Sarah Clark scored 15, and Bekah Basinger had 11. With this win, the Lady Pilots move into a current three way tie for fourth place in the conference and remain four games out of first place. Bethel’s next game will be against the 8th ranked Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats at home on Saturday. The Wildcats are currently 8-1 in the conference.
