MISHAWAKA – Over spring break, the Bethel Pilots baseball team traveled to Florida to compete in the Central Florida Invitational. The overall trip record was 4-3, losing to Grace in a tough game to come back and sweep them in a doubleheader, leaving Florida by taking the series.
“I think our team showed great focus and resilience as we went through our week beginning to end; we found out a lot about our team dynamic and what we needed to do to keep everyone focused on the job at hand,” Seth Zartman, Bethel Pilots head baseball coach, said. “We were able to come back from some disappointing losses and show what we could do by getting a few victories the next day after those losses. Overall, it was a great trip to set up the rest of our season back home. Unfortunately, we will never know how the season would’ve played out.”
