MISHAWAKA– Beginning March 31 and lasting until April 22, Bethel’s Spiritual Life team is asking students and staff to participate in praying for 23 days. The event kicked off in Shiloh on March 30.

Anne Garrett, a junior at Bethel and a Spiritual Life intern, talked about her expectations for the event, explaining that she hopes that people will draw closer to God.

Garrett explained that during these 23 days, students and staff can come and pray together during the meeting times. Students will be meeting at Shiloh at 7 a.m. on Mondays through Fridays, at 10 a.m. on Saturdays and at 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Students are encouraged to pray together to help keep each other accountable, which is why the meeting times are offered. If students cannot attend the prayer meetings, they are still being encouraged to pray wherever and whenever they can.

Garrett explained that the Spiritual Life team is asking students to pray for revival on Bethel’s campus and that the team is asking to see more of God. She explained the importance of revival coming from prayer.

“[I want to] see people draw closer to God,” Garrett said.
