MISHAWAKA- On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, Academic Services hosted an open house in the
Weaver Rotunda in honor of four professors who are leaving Bethel, either as retirees or for
other opportunities.
Melyssa Geever, administrative assistant to the vice president for academic services, oversaw
organization for this event.
“This was an all faculty and staff get together for some of the professors who are leaving us,”
Geever said. “It was a chance to get together, congratulate them, thank them for their service,
and just a last minute chance for relaxation for staff and faculty before finals.”
The event celebrated Brother Timothy Eredel, M.Div, professor of religion and philosophy,
archivist and theological librarian; Brian Isaac, Ph.D., professor of chemistry; Chad Meister,
Ph.D., chair of the Department of Religion and Philosophy; and Diane Myers, M.S., assistant professor of education.
