MISHAWAKA—The men’s volleyball team will kick off its inaugural season on Jan. 27 at Lawrence Tech (Mich.). Their first home game will take place on Feb. 3 against Mount Vernon Nazarene in the Goodman Gymnasium at 7:30 p.m.
This season, the Pilots will compete in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). The team will join Goshen, Marian, Mount Vernon Nazarene and Taylor as Crossroads League adjunct members in the conference. The Pilots were picked as tied for sixth in the conference out of ten teams. They will also be one of two teams to be first-year members, joining Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.
Last season, Indiana Tech won the WHAC regular season championship and has been picked to win it once again this year in the preseason poll. They received all the first-place votes in this year's poll.
