Bat­tle of the Bands Re­turns to Bethel

MISHAWAKA--On Oct. 28, Bethel Uni­ver­sity hosted the Bat­tle of the Bands in the Ever­est-Rohrer au­di­to­rium. The event be­gan at 7:00 p.m. and had free ad­mis­sion. Bands were com­posed of Bethel stu­dents, staff and Bethel friends and fam­ily. A panel of four judges chose the win­ner of the con­test. The judges were Pres­i­dent Barb Belle­feuille, Ed.D.; Theo Williams, Ph.D.; Jess Lyons, M.M.; and KK Kokon­aing, a cur­rent Bethel stu­dent.   

“It was ex­tremely fun to see every­one show­case their very own tal­ent,” Kokon­aing said. “If I was­n’t a judge, I hon­estly would have been a part of Bat­tle of the Bands. I would have done some­thing be­cause I know I would have had fun.”  

Belle­feuille said the event was a great ex­pe­ri­ence.  

“I had a won­der­ful time,” Belle­feuille said. “I en­joyed see­ing all the amaz­ing tal­ents and happy faces. If you did not go, you re­ally missed out. It was a won­der­ful ex­pe­ri­ence; every­one was amaz­ing!”  

The band named “Danny and the De­vi­tos” won the event.
