Men’s Vol­ley­ball Pre­pares for In­au­gural Sea­son

MISHAWAKA—The men’s vol­ley­ball team will kick off its in­au­gural sea­son on Jan. 27 at Lawrence Tech (Mich.). Their first home game will take place on Feb. 3 against Mount Ver­non Nazarene in the Good­man Gym­na­sium at 7:30 p.m. 

This sea­son, the Pi­lots will com­pete in the Wolver­ine Hoosier Ath­letic Con­fer­ence (WHAC). The team will join Goshen, Mar­ian, Mount Ver­non Nazarene and Tay­lor as Cross­roads League ad­junct mem­bers in the con­fer­ence. The Pi­lots were picked as tied for sixth in the con­fer­ence out of ten teams. They will also be one of two teams to be first-year mem­bers, join­ing Saint Mary-of-the-Woods.  

Last sea­son, In­di­ana Tech won the WHAC reg­u­lar sea­son cham­pi­onship and has been picked to win it once again this year in the pre­sea­son poll. They re­ceived all the first-place votes in this year's poll.
