MISHAWAKA—This past weekend, the men’s soccer season ended with a loss in the NAIA Championships at the hands of the No. 7 team in the nation, Missouri Valley College, 2-0. The Pilots finished the season 16-5-2, with a regular season Crossroads League championship, and a postseason Crossroads League championship.
The opening round of the NAIA Championships was hosted in Marshall, Mo., and the Pilots faced off against No. 12 William Carey University and won 2-0, with goals from Matheus Santiago and Naieem Bean, before the round two loss to Missouri Valley College. In the Pilots' games at the NAIA Championships, they played a half varsity and half junior varsity team.
